This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hello everyone.
I am only a beginner at DA.
I havent posted anything worth being proud of.
I havent had much motivation or inspiration lately which has effected more than just this account.
I need to get away from the place im at right now,
i need to wake up my brain that just refuses to WAKE UP!!!
well, first of all, whatever you plan on going in to don't worry: MIAD has great everything programs.
MIAD is best known for it's design programs, but all the fine arts are outstanding. I'm just a foundations student so I don't have a full year's experience yet, but all of my classes are great.
I get a genuine sense of care from my teachers. They want me to understand the concepts rather than produce a beautiful piece of art.
My suggestions to both get better scholarships and get ready for school is to make some observational work. They really dig that kind of stuff. Draw and paint less from a photograph and more from what you actually see. Drawing is 2% physical skill, 98% the ability to see. Also, think way outside of the box. Most of my portfolio was digital (I even included my website) and just do something to really show who you are. Instead of telling us about yourself, show it.
Last but not least, keep in touch! Your admissions adviser will stay in touch with you, throw them some love. If you're planning on coming to portfolio day, I highly suggest it. My reviewer/counselor was Anne Harvey, and she had some great criticism that helped beef up my portfolio.
If you have any more questions or concerns, let me know. I'm a decent human and I'll help you out.
what size did u want it?
